Our mission is to bring diversity to the urban landscape, enable co-habitation with our natural world through gardens woven with functional beauty, habitat and resiliency.
From childhood I wandered through natural worlds, my parents were always bringing us on long walks down woodland trails. I have infant memories of mud sticking to my boots, our lab jumping into the river and hurried visits to the outhouse.
My first exposure to cultivation was through floristry at a local florist, where I learned about hard work, the pricks of roses and the artistry of arrangement.
After university, I gained employment at a garden centre where I supervised receiving, display and the care of all variety of plants which rotated through the centre weekly.
After having my gardening mostly limited within balconies and window ledges, we finally purchased our first home in 2014 where my urge to tend a landscape finally found a proper outlet.
I dove in deep; experimenting with plants, soils and cultivation techniques. I researched and practiced than spread my passion to local community groups. Eventually, I came upon an opportunity to move my skills outside my own domain and share them with others.
We're never done learning but I know my passion and if I can spend the my life helping to create and tend gardens I will be blessed.
